WOMEN’S CONCACAF GOLD CUP – Vamos

the oBjective
G7 was challenged by Concacaf to find a song and artist for the soccer governing body to sync to their Women’s Gold Cup tournament.

OUR APPROACH
Knowing that the Gold Cup’s teams are mostly from Spanish speaking countries, G7 identified bi-lingual artist Alexis Gomez and worked with her to write, record, and produce “Vamos,” a high-energy, anthemic song with international appeal.

the outcome
Concacaf loved and chose the vibrant G7-executive-produced music as their official Gold Cup theme song that was broadcast to a televised audience of over 100 million people via tournament promos as well as in-game intros and outros. Partnering with Universal Music Latin, additional artists were added to the track, a music video was created, and all content was widely distributed. During the tournament finals match between Brazil and the United States, the song was performed live to a global audience.
