In support of the instant film brand as the global sponsor of the TAYLOR SWIFT reputation STADIUM TOUR, G7 designed, fabricated and managed a branded concourse footprint that traveled to 53 tour dates in 36 cities across 7 countries (United States, Canada, Ireland, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Japan).
FUJIFILM instax provided a fun activity for fans to enjoy while waiting for the concert to begin. Within the activation footprint, fans were able to check out the instax family of cameras, including the instax SQUARE SQ6 Taylor Swift Edition, enjoy a photo experience in front of two backdrops with scenes and props from Taylor Swift's music videos, and take home a keepsake instax photo.
The G7 team and local brand ambassadors were able to engage tens of thousands of Taylor Swift fans at each tour stop. The activation allowed existing FUJIFILM instax users to experience new film products alongside their favorite artist as well as provided the opportunity for new visitors to get excited about instant photography.
During the seven-month program, more than 120,000 fans participated in the FUJIFILM instax TAYLOR SWIFT reputation STADIUM TOUR activation experience globally by taking home a physical instant film memento.
According to FUJIFILM Q3 financials, “the sales volume of the instax series totaled 8.5 million units in the nine months of this fiscal year. Instax Square SQ20, the new hybrid instax camera capable of editing images before printing, and a global promotion featuring Taylor Swift, instax’s global partner, contributed to the sales increase.”
